We are a UK based operation and use state of the art Yag and C02 lasers which allow us to utilise laser engraving on almost any material you care to mention. You can look in the CO2 and YAG sections for a description of the different type of laser we operate. So what is laser marking and laser engraving? Unlike conventional engravers we use an intense beam of light instead of a rotating or vibrating tool, this beam can either vaporise a small area of the surface ( laser engraving ) or cause a change in the colour of the surface of the material ( laser marking ) this beam is controlled by a computer at very high speeds and accuracy to give outstanding quality at a very cost effective price. Almost all materials can be laser engraved / laser marked.

Because no inks are used the laser marking services are both permanent and the process is kind to the environment.
Laser Marking Services can be used for many thousands of applications from computer keyboards to one off special promotional gifts. With advanced software we can laser engrave practically anything from Bar Codes & 2D codes to photographs and company logos. Some times laser marking is referred to as laser etching, unlike conventional etching, laser etching needs no masks or chemicals, Laser etching gives a better quality finish as there is never any bleed out and the marking is more permanent. Laser engraving can be used for most of the jobs currently being carried out by conventional industrial engravers.

Laser Marking

We have an in house artwork facility to convert your drawings into the correct format or we can accept artwork directly in a variety of formats including JPEG, Adobe- Illustrator , Corel Draw and AutoCAD just to name a few. Typical industries that use Laser Marking include Promotional, Engineering, & Medical we can cope with batches of anything from 1 to 10,000 no job is to big or small. We have both UK and international customers but the majority of our laser engraving and laser marking business comes from all over the UK. We also are happy to carry out subcontract work for other industrial & conventional engravers, as the demand increases for laser engraving many engravers are left with the choice of heavily investing in expensive equipment or losing good customers. Laser Engraving Services

As a little taster of just a few of the things we do, our laser engraving services can laser engrave Steel, Aluminium, Titanium, Copper, Brass in fact we can provide laser engraving services for any metal you chose to mention. We can also laser mark most plastics from cattle tags to backlit day/night key switches. We can carry out deep engraving for the manufacture of mould tools and actually change to colour of some metals by super heating them. We can also engrave & cut wood, glass & leather. We carry out work for the promotional industry, marking logos onto gifts to a very high standard. We also mark many surgical tools with CE marks 2d & 3d codes for tractability.
For the Engineering & Aerospace industries we mark part numbers, logos and scales to a very high accuracy & have the ability to mark circular parts around their circumference with our rotary marking attachment.
